Summer Rain (Special Commission)

Obviously a close relative of two earlier pieces - Glacier and Raindrops. This was a special request from W when she saw the piece that I made for KM. :) But she wanted hers with a little more colour which explains the pastel coloured Swarovski crystals that sits atop the drops of rock crystal.

Glacier Necklace - S$70.00

Brrrrr.... icy cold and almost colourless, this glacial beauty is definitely a close relative of Raindrops! :) The same clear, "water" beads, spaced out with a froth of clear, silver or blue toned crystals and glass nestled in between.

Choker length with a lobster clasp enclosure.

Raindrops Necklace (Special Commission)

KM came home from her Melbourne holiday late last year with a strand of beads which she said looked like beads of water. She fell in love with the beads and said I absolutely had to make something for her. So here we are! Raindrops!






Pretty huh? Not too sure what the main stone really is since KM didn't ask when she bought the strand, I think it's some kind of quartz -- rock crystal?

I really love this piece myself -- I think the gloden tone in the greens of this piece is just gorgeous! And I like that it's so tactile -- the knobbly surface of the crocheted beads, against the smooth lacquered wooden beads.

As you've guessed this is a special request by Polly. She seems partial to these floral- type lampwork beads, and again, she chose the beads and got me to make it into this delicately- pretty necklace. :)

If you have a young daughter like me, you don't have to ask how this necklace got named! *rolls eyes* We introduced Kimmie to "The Little Mermaid" a couple of weeks back, and of course she became an instant fan (minus the part where Ursula the evil octopus tried to kill off everyone!).

Anyhow, in case you're scratching your head and wondering who the heck Ariel is, she's Walt Disney's version of the Hans Christian Anderson's Little Mermaid.

And don't you think this Swarovski crystal and amazonite Y- styled necklace is something you could imagine a mermaid wear? :)

I think this is a lovely casual yet dressy piece. In my mind's eye, I can see it going beautifully with a white loose linen tunic top and flowy biege linen trousers. :P

Amazonite drops together with pretty swarovski crystals sit atop a beautifully iridescent shell.

Blue quartz briolette nestled with sparkly blue- toned swarovski crystals make up the centrepiece of this necklace. Connected to matching blue leather strips by silver hoops.

This piece is a personal favourite and the one that really started "Collection Seascape".

A crystal Swarovski starfish dangle prettily with a blue quartz briolette amidst sparkly swarovski crystals.

All held together by an ornate silver- toned bead strung on matching turquoise and blue suede strips.

Collection Seascape: Heart of the Sea - S$55.00

Sparkling swarovski crystals splash against a beautiful piece of turquoise. The marbling on this piece of turquoise is really lovely if you could look up- close!

Below that - a silver- toned tassle with varying shades of blue- green crystals.

Length of necklace is adjustable - just tie the turquoise suede strip to any length you like! :)
